Air Fittings For Your 4WD

I have an ARB dual compressor with pressure control system, retractable airline and sealed chuck. Everything I purchased was good quality, except for the chuck. I looked online, found a sealed chuck for about 10 bucks and thought it was all good. How wrong I was!

The chuck would not stay on the valve stem, clearly air leaking. This made the pressure control system completely useless. Worse, I only used the cheap chuck a few times, all of which failed to lock onto the valve stem.

I watched a video from AllOffRoad Adventures and he mentioned Jamec Pem during it as his air inflator of choice (auto 1000). Went to their chucks, really good quality, worth every extra dollar than the cheap rubbish I had.

I took a look at their auto 1000, and its a nice bit of kit. If you aren’t running the ARB compressor that suits pressure control, then the auto 1000 system would certainly make life easier for tyre inflation / deflation.

Take a look for yourself in the quality and why my cheap rubbish didn’t lock on. You can see the tooth that bites the valve doesn’t seat correctly, hence the issue. The Jamec Pem one is solid as, and the locking tooth has lots of meat to remain correctly seated.

I immediately tried the Jamec Pem chuck. No problems. No air leaking. Suddenly the pressure control system had the tyre at the set value within 30 seconds. No more having to check the tyre manually to ensure the correct pressure because the cheap chuck leaked too much.

Highly recommend Jamec Pem for your 4WD air equipment. Top quality gear that will work when you need it to.
